Broken Flowers

Commentary by Max Einhorn

Broken Flowers is the dark themed comedy starring Bill Murray, whose character recieves an anonymous letter from who thinks is one of his old girlfriends, that he has a son, and who has run away from home to search for his father. Murray’s character travels around to his old girlfriends to find out who is the mother. I think I actually prefer Murray’s more serious toned roles than a lot of his old comedy roles. He gives an outstanding performance and in this film you really feel for his character. Rated R for language, some graphic nudity and brief durg use. Running time 106 minutes.

MAXimum Rating: 8.5/10
